A couple in Ballycastle wanted to turn their overgrown back garden into a clean, functional outdoor space for relaxing, entertaining and enjoying seasonal colour. MGS designed and delivered a contemporary scheme combining natural materials, structured planting and practical layout—creating a garden that feels both modern and timeless.

• Raised Stone Beds: Built using locally sourced stone, these beds give structure to the garden while showcasing seasonal planting with minimal upkeep.

• Timber Walkway: A simple wooden boardwalk connects the main entrance to the seating area, adding warmth and guiding flow through the space.

• Formal Hedge Screening: A mature hedge was shaped and retained for privacy, giving the space a sense of enclosure and calm.
